The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the Ohio River at Louisville. Due to recent heavy rains in the Louisville area and the Upper Ohio River Valley, the river is rising at a rate of approximately two feet per day. The river is expected to crest at or near flood stage (23 feet on the Upper Gauge) on Sunday evening. The river is currently at 15.2 feet on the Upper Gauge (2.5 feet higher than normal pool).

MSD has placed the Buchanon Street Pumping Station in service at 2:30 P.M. today. The Western Pump Station will go into service at midnight tonight. The Lower Mill Creek, Upper Mill Creek and Pond Creek Pumping stations will be placed in service on Friday, March 22, at noon.
