The 2003 River Sweep,
scheduled for Saturday, July 12, has been postponed in Louisville
again due to high water and swift currents on the Ohio River.
Indiana sites have decided to operate as scheduled. Recent heavy
rains in the Ohio Valley are raising the river level rapidly and
Louisville felt it would present a safety hazard to volunteers.
THE NEW DATE OF THE
OHIO RIVER SWEEP HAS NOT BEEN DETERMINED.
