The following were approved:
- Minutes of the January 24, 2000 meeting were approved.
Mr. Garner reported on the following:
- Will be chairing a task force with Mayor Armstrong on Beargrass
Creek. Mr. Garner also indicated that the task force will involve MSD,
and stated that Ms. Doutrick, MSD Board Chairperson, and Messrs.
Schardein, MSD's Director of Community Relations and Emergency
Response, and Melisizwe, MSD's Beargrass Creek Area Team Leader, will
also serve on the task force.
- Received a voice mail on Friday, February 11, from the National
Association of Women Business Owners stating that MSD was nominated by
the local section to receive their National Business Corporate Award.
- Ms. Doutrick reported on the AMSA 2000 Winter Conference which was
held in Albuquerque during the week of January 31, 2000.
The following were approved:
- Water Usage Rate Adjustment Resolution Amendment, Condominium
Associations
- Resolution approving acceptance of bids received by MSD on February
11, 2000, making formal award, and establishing definitive terms for
debt service fund forward purchase and swap agreements.
Mr. Melisizwe reported on the following:
- Emergency Procurement for the repair and replacement of sewer
collapse - 443 S. 5th Street, Emergency Contract 05-09/Basham
- Emergency Procurement for repair and replacement of sewer collapse -
under Watterson X-way on Park Blvd., Emergency Contract 04-99/E-Z
