Supplier Diversity for MSD

MSD seeks suppliers of goods and services essential to the successful administration and operation of our organization. Our needs range from automotive parts and services to waste disposal.

Certified businesses that can furnish these goods and services are encouraged to sign up for one of MSD's E-Mail Lists to be notified when bids are available. Be sure to indicate if you are an MBE or WBE firm when you register. You may also contact MSD's Purchasing Department at 502/540-6328 or by e-mail to our Purchasing Manager.

MSD's construction program is divided generally into three areas:

Capital construction projects: M/WBE construction contractors certified by MSD are included on the Invitation to Bid list, notified of projects that are ready to bid and informed when bids will be opened. Contract awards are posted on the automated Bid Line, 502/540-6450.

Annual Construction Projects at MFWQTC: To be eligible to bid as a General Contractor at the Morris Forman Water Quality Treatment Center, certified M/WBE contractors must be prequalified prior to the award of the contract. To request a Proposal Qualifications Package, please review MSD's Construction Procurement pages for more information. Projects typically cost less than $250,000.

Annual Maintenance Projects: These include stormwater, drainage and sanitary sewer maintenance projects that typically cost less than $250,000. To be eligible to bid these projects as a General Contractor, certified M/WBE contractors must be prequalified prior to the award of the contract. To obtain a Request for Qualifications package, please review MSD's Construction Procurement pages for more information.

Please contact Diana Ogburn for more information. She oversees certification, contract opportunities and program development, along with other aspects of Supplier Diversity.
