Pretreatment Program
Who We Are & What We Do:
MSDs Regulatory Services (RS) Division is made up of:
- The MFWQTC Water and Wastewater Quality
Analytical Laboratory
The Lab analyzes surface water samples for the MSDs Water Quality Program,
wastewater samples for MSDs Treatment
Centers and all
samples taken by the Industrial Waste Department.
- The Industrial Waste Department (IWD)
IWD serves to reduce risk to public health and the environment from industrial and
commercial activities that discharge to the MSD sewer system, and also directly to the
environment.
