Hall Farm Drive Drainage Improvement Project

Customer Service: (502) 587-0603Report as of Wednesday, July 02, 2008

Project Description

This project will complete stream bank stabilization and erosion restoration for a blue line stream located along the back properties along Hall Farm Drive in the Glenmary Subdivision. The project will use bio-engineering solutions to help control erosion along the stream. Properties affected by the project will be 7700 to 7910 Hall Farm Drive and the adjacent properties along Glenmary Farm Drive.

Need

A blue line unnamed tributary in the Big Run watershed passes through the Glenmary Subdivision along Fall Farm Drive. The banks along the stream are eroding the adjacent properties and undermining the trees and vegetation in the area. Restoration needs to be completed to preserve the vegetation and to prevent potential property loss.

Other Information

This stream is located in a 100 year flood easement and Kentucky Division of Water approval will be necessary before construction can begin.
